The Waverly Inn was just two years old the last time we experienced a total eclipse in North Carolina in the year 1900. Now 117 years later much of the North Carolina mountains will be in the path of totality of the upcoming "Great American Eclipse". Here in Hendersonville we will be just on the outside of the path of totality but only 15 minutes from prime viewing spots.
