2026 Waverly Live
Front Porch Series
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and join us at the front porch from May through October for live Americana music along with great southern fare and cold beverages. Music is free to enjoy and we will also be selling Waverly Smoked BBQ and beverages to enrich the experience (July 4th's menu will feature cookout classics). All performances will be 6pm-8pm, except July 4th which will be 1pm-5pm.

Jose's Lookin' Good Showcase

This year’s José's Lookin' Good Showcase will be held at the Waverly front porch. Join us for amazing tunes and tasty Waverly BBQ! Scott T. Smith will be our headliner. Scott hails from West Virginia and is making a big splash on the Americana scene with a recent opening gig with Tyler Childers.
Tickets are just $40 and include our complete BBQ buffet. All proceeds benefit Hendersonville's Thrive.

NC Music Hall of Fame legend, David Childers is back! Join us for an unforgettable weekend takeover as we welcome back the legendary David Childers and friends for a legendary weekend at the 1898 Waverly Inn.
Friday Night – BBQ & Ballads
Kick off the weekend with a soulful Southern evening. Enjoy a delicious barbecue buffet dinner while Letters to Abigail open the night with their signature Americana harmonies. Then settle in for an intimate and unforgettable performance with the David Childers Trio- raw, heartfelt, and timeless.
Saturday Morning – Mimosa Breakfast
Ease into your day with a relaxing mimosa breakfast alongside fellow music lovers at the inn. Non-alcoholic mimosas available. (2 per customer)
Saturday Night – David Childers and the Serpents with special guest Abe Partridge at Continuum ART
Saturday evening features a powerhouse lineup! Expect a rousing blend of folk, rock, country, gospel and Carolina soul.
Sunday Morning – Farewell Brunch Jam
Close out the weekend with a brunch performance featuring David Childers, joined by David Niblock, Abe Partridge and Korey Dudley. A warm, music-filled sendoff to cap an unforgettable weekend.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering his music for the first time, this is a rare chance to spend a weekend with one of North Carolina’s most beloved troubadours in an intimate setting.
All packages include an 18x20 print of an original David Childers painting to commemorate the weekend.
Limited rooms are available at the Waverly Inn for a fully immersive experience.
Christmas Parade Weekend

Start the year off right and join us for our ninth annual BBQ and Brewery Weekend! The package includes our Friday night house-made BBQ dinner, Hendersonville Brewery Crawl and on Saturday we shuttle you to four different local breweries, for a fully weekend of hoppy delights.

Vineyard Weekend
February 5-7, 2027
Join us for our annual Vineyard Weekend where we will enjoy great food and five local wineries! The 1898 Waverly Inn will provide transportation to and from the wineries, all supplies and food for the Friday night picnic, as well breakfast both mornings.

Memorial Day Weekend (May 29-30, 2027)
Welcome to a gardener’s paradise! On Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, Main Street is filled to the brim with plants and garden décor of all shapes and sizes. With nearly 200 vendors, you are bound to find the perfect piece or sapling to complete or begin your botanical oasis. And be sure to check out our speakers at the main stage for the best tips and tricks of the craft.

NC Apple Festival
Labor Day Weekend (September 3-6, 2027)
Every year, the four days of Labor Day weekend are dedicated to all things apples here in Hendersonville as we host the North Carolina Apple Festival, which celebrates the importance of the apple industry to our county. We are talking apple fritters, apple ice cream, apple slushies, apple cider donuts, and the list goes on! Main street is lined with all kinds of vendors from our local orchards selling all their apple goodies to handcrafted wood workers, ceramics, and photographers. The south end of Main Street becomes a carnival food block, complete with a kid’s rides corner where they can burn off some of their extra energy. And be sure to stay for the Apple Parade on Monday moring!
