Kristy Lee Takeover!

March 20-22, 2026

Spend an intimate spring weekend immersed in music, conversation, and community with acclaimed singer-songwriter Kristy Lee. From a Friday night fundraiser supporting LGBTQ youth to a soulful Appalachian feast and music-filled evenings, this takeover is designed to bring people together in meaningful ways.

6:30-10:30pm: PFLAG Fundraiser & BBQ
Kick off the weekend by supporting the Hendersonville chapter of PFLAG, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ people, their families, and allies. Enjoy a relaxed evening of great BBQ, community, and live music from the amazing Kristy Lee.

11:00am: Mimosas & Conversation
Join us for a southern brunch buffet, two mimosas per guest, and an intimate 90-minute Q&A with Kristy Lee. Hear stories behind the songs, insights from the road, and engage in thoughtful conversation in a welcoming, inclusive setting.
7:00pm: Dinner & Music
Wrap up Saturday night with a 90-minute live set from Kristy Lee paired with a hearty Appalachian Boil featuring mountain trout and seasonal favorites. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages are included—just come ready to eat, listen, and linger.

Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend

April 30-May 3, 2026

While we are famous for our apples, Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend pays special homage to our award winning Cideries and Wineries. Events will take place throughout Henderson County, with many venues featuring live music, food trucks, tastings, and tours.

This year’s weekend will start off with a special dinner and wine pairing hosted at The Horse Shoe Farm, called A Taste of Hendersonville.

Garden Jubilee

Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-24, 2026)

Welcome to a gardener’s paradise! On Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, Main Street is filled to the brim with plants and garden décor of all shapes and sizes. With nearly 200 vendors, you are bound to find the perfect piece or sapling to complete or begin your botanical oasis. And be sure to check out our speakers at the main stage for the best tips and tricks of the craft.

2026 Waverly Live

Front Porch Series

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and join us at the front porch from May through October for live Americana music along with great southern fare and cold beverages. Music is free to enjoy and we will also be selling Waverly Smoked BBQ and beverages to enrich the experience (July 4th's menu will feature cookout classics). All performances will be 6pm-8pm, except July 4th which will be 12pm-3pm.

NC Apple Festival

Labor Day Weekend (September 4-7, 2026)

Every year, the four days of Labor Day weekend are dedicated to all things apples here in Hendersonville as we host the North Carolina Apple Festival, which celebrates the importance of the apple industry to our county. We are talking apple fritters, apple ice cream, apple slushies, apple cider donuts, and the list goes on! Main street is lined with all kinds of vendors from our local orchards selling all their apple goodies to handcrafted wood workers, ceramics, and photographers. The south end of Main Street becomes a carnival food block, complete with a kid’s rides corner where they can burn off some of their extra energy. And be sure to stay for the Apple Parade on Monday moring!

Start the year off right and join us for our ninth annual BBQ and Brewery Weekend! The package includes our Friday night house-made BBQ dinner, Hendersonville Brewery Crawl and on Saturday we shuttle you to four different local breweries, for a fully weekend of hoppy delights.

Vineyard Weekend

February 5-7, 2027

Join us for our annual Vineyard Weekend where we will enjoy great food and five local wineries! The 1898 Waverly Inn will provide transportation to and from the wineries, all supplies and food for the Friday night picnic, as well breakfast both mornings.
