With the addition of D9 Brewing on Main Street, downtown Hendersonville now has six craft breweries. D9 is an extension of the original brewer's base in Cornelius, NC just north of Charlotte on Lake Norman. Five of the breweries are within eight blocks of the inn and the sixth, Dry Falls is just 3/4 of a mile. Even for non-beer drinkers the breweries are bringing a lot to the downtown area with great food truck offerings and live music and other entertainment offered on a regular schedule. Three breweries are in our Seventh Avenue Historic District which is just a few blocks from the inn. There you will find our oldest brewery, Southern Appalachian which is next door to Guidon Brewing specializing in European beers. Lastly, you'll find Triskelion Brewing a few blocks away in this up and coming area. Head to Main Street and you'll find the new D9 Brewing and Oklawaha just off Main on 1st Ave and specializing in a unique selection of small batch beers. One unique way to experience each of these locations is on our annual brewery weekend which is the first weekend of January each year. Call us at 828.693.9193 for details on how you can join us.
