Canopy Adventure Package

Mt. Pisgah Guided Hike Package
Two nights at the 1898 Waverly Inn and a Guided Hike to Mt. Pisgah.
This moderate half day hike (your choice of 3
or 5 miles) leads to the top of Mount Pisgah.
The summit of Mount Pisgah is the most identifiable
peak in Western North Carolina. On a clear day,
the 339-foot television tower that crowns the
mountain can be seen from seven surrounding counties.
A hike to the base of the tower will reveal great
views of Shining Rock Wilderness to the west and
the French Broad River Basin to the east (3.0
miles). There is also an optional 2.0 mile round-trip
that takes visitors to the foundation of Buck
Springs Lodge, the former site of George W. Vanderbilt’s
hunting cabin and mountain retreat. Guided by
a well experienced guide. Snacks included.
